(NL)Het grootste probleem van Solexen is dat de gasklepas in de zachte behuizing loopt. Hierdoor trekt de carburateur niet alleen valse lucht, maar slijten de gaskleppen ook een groef in de behuizing. Deze Solexen hebben nieuwe bronzen bussen,  de throttle bores zijn uitgekotterd en voorzien van nieuwe gaskleppen.  Gasgeven!

(EN) Solex carbs are prone to warpage and leakage due to the shafts wearing in the throttle body. Eventually the butterflies start etching into the housing and this is where the leakage of air starts to wreak havoc with their ability to be adjusted properly. On this set of split shafts the throttle bores have been oversized with new butterflies. Vroom!
